Born and raised in the vibrant heart of Addis Ababa, Mikiyas Yakob always felt a profound connection to the diverse tapestry of Ethiopian culture. However, as he traveled abroad, Mikiyas realized a startling truth: the Ethiopia the world knew was often painted with a single, outdated brush. The lush landscapes, the rich culinary heritage, and the unparalleled warmth of its people were stories left untold.

Travel Ethiopia was born out of a desire to rewrite that narrative.
